چکیده

In this paper we propose a new method to solve biobjective combinatorial optimization problems of the max-ordering type. The method is based on the two-phases method and ranking algorithms to eÆciently construct K best solutions for the underlying (single objective) combinatorial problem. We show that the method overcomes some of the diÆculties of procedures proposed earlier. We illustrate this by an example and discuss the diÆculties in extending it to more than two objectives.

ALGORITHMS FOR BIOBJECTIVE SHORTEST PATH PROBLEMS IN FUZZY NETWORKS

We consider biobjective shortest path problems in networks with fuzzy arc lengths. Considering the available studies for single objective shortest path problems in fuzzy networks, using a distance function for comparison of fuzzy numbers, we propose three approaches for solving the biobjective prob- lems. The rst and second approaches are extensions of the labeling method to solve the sing...

A new approach to fuzzy quantities ordering based on distance method and its applications for solving fuzzy linear programming

Many ranking methods have been proposed so far. However, there is yet no method that can always give a satisfactory solution to every situation; some are counterintuitive, not discriminating; some use only the local information of fuzzy values; some produce different ranking for the same situation. For overcoming the above problems, we propose a new method for ranking fuzzy quantities based on ...

Multiobjective Imperialist Competitive Evolutionary Algorithm for Solving Nonlinear Constrained Programming Problems

Nonlinear constrained programing problem (NCPP) has been arisen in diverse range of sciences such as portfolio, economic management etc.. In this paper, a multiobjective imperialist competitive evolutionary algorithm for solving NCPP is proposed. Firstly, we transform the NCPP into a biobjective optimization problem. Secondly, in order to improve the diversity of evolution country swarm, and he...

A new attitude coupled with the basic thinking to ordering for ranking fuzzy ‎numbers

‎Ranking fuzzy numbers is generalization of the concepts of order, and class, and so have fundamental applications. Moreover, deriving the final efficiency and powerful ranking are helpful to decision makers when solving fuzzy problems. Selecting a good ranking method can apply to choosing a desired criterion in a fuzzy environment. There are numerous methods proposed for the ranking of fuzzy n...

Exact Methods for Computing All Lorenz Optimal Solutions to Biobjective Problems

This paper deals with biobjective combinatorial optimization problems where both objectives are required to be well-balanced. Lorenz dominance is a refinement of the Pareto dominance that has been proposed in economics to measure the inequalities in income distributions. We consider in this work the problem of computing the Lorenz optimal solutions to combinatorial optimization problems where s...
